England Southeast/London Tour Itinerary...
The following itinerary is designed for the traveller who is looking for first-class hotels while touring the greatest courses in England.
Day 1:
Your SGH Golf Vacation begins with a transatlantic flight to London, England.
Day 2:
Upon arrival, you will pick up your rental vehicle and drive to Sandwich and the Bell Hotel. This small hotel prides itself on providing the personal service and professional care which ensure that every stay is a memorable occasion. The individually furnished bedrooms are attractive and spacious. The afternoon is free for you to unpack and relax.
Day 3:
After breakfast, golf will be arranged at Royal Cinque Ports. This is a famous championship seaside links, windy but with easy walking.
Day 4:
Today you will play the course at Royal St. George's. This course is the truest links you will find in all England and the Royal & Ancient, in its wisdom, chose this as one of The Open venues, knowing it will find the pedigree player at the end of a week.
Day 5:
Golf today will be played at Walton Heath. On an exposed heathland setting, some 700 feet above sea level and covered with bracken and heather, the courses are undoubtedly two of the finest of their type in England. After golf you will transfer to Ascot and the Berystede Hotel. With its high turrets, timbered facade and nine-acre wooded grounds, the Berystede has plenty of victorian atmosphere.
Day 6:
Today you will play Sunningdale Old Course. The Old Course retains a high ranking in courses around the world as a fine example of a heathland course.
Day 7:
Today golf will be arranged at Wentworth East Course. Of all the inland courses in England, Wentworth is the most revered. Host to the Ryder Cup, the World Match Play, Dunlop Masters and so on, it personifies great inland golf the world over.
Day 8:
Today you may choose more golf in The Isles, or reluctantly make your way back home via London.
