Wednesday, April 5

Today is the Last Day of Practice Round and the Par Three Tournament. Get a good night of rest, because the day starts early!

  • 6:45am - 1st hotel shuttle departs for Magnolia Manor Hospitality and the course.
  • 7:00am - Magnolia Manor Hospitality opens, check in with the SGH desk if you have hospitality.
  • 8:00am - Gates open. This morning enjoy the last of the practice rounds followed by the par 3 tournament, the players will be out early this morning as the Tournament course is closed for play at the start of the par 3 tournament at 1:00pm, (Insiders Tip - Start at 18 and work back to see all your favorite players.) There's always a relaxed atmosphere surrounding the Par 3 Tournament. There's more player-to-fan interaction during Wednesday's competition making it a real fan favorite. The players often joke around with each other; take mulligan's when a shot goes in the water, take pictures with fans and sign autographs. This is a must-see event. Fun Fact: No player has ever won the par 3 tournament and gone on to win the Masters that same year. Get to the course early or make sure to stop by the par 3 course and set your Masters chair when you arrive there.
  • 1:00pm - Par Three tournament starts.
  • After the Par 3 tournament is over (4:30pm) head back over to the main course if you want some great pictures without the crowds and the players. Don't forget a stop at the Pro shop on your way out! (Insiders Tip - There is a FedEx and UPS station to the right of the Pro shop so you can buy and ship all in one spot.)
  • 6:30pm - Gates close (approximate Time)

After the golf is done, you will be transferred back to Magnolia Manor and your respective hotel.

Thursday, April 6

Today the Tournament finally starts!

  • 6:30am - 1st hotel shuttle departs for Magnolia Manor Hospitality and Augusta.
  • 6:45am - Magnolia Manor Hospitality opens, check in with the SGH desk if you have hospitality.
  • 7:30am- Gates open. The first days play at the Masters starts at 7:40 with the honorary starters Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and their good friend Gary Player. Start the day by walking the course. You'll quickly realize that what you see on television is vastly different to the real thing; there is as much as 500 ft in elevation changes on some holes. Work backwards from 18 that way you will see the back 9 before they are crowded, the last tee time will be about 2:00pm
  • It's going to be a long day. Head back to Magnolia Manor for lunch and time to rejuvenate. (Insiders Tip - Head for holes 4 & 5- due to their distance from the main entrance there are far fewer patrons on this part of the course, settle in and watch your favorite players come through, concessions and restrooms are close by). This is also a great day to spend time at the range and just getting a feel for the history of the course, stop by at Rae's Creek and the Big Oak beside the clubhouse. Pairing sheets for tee times are located all over the course,  these make a great souvenir gift for friends back home.
  • 7:00pm - Gates close 30 minutes after play.

After the golf is done, you will be transferred back to our hotel and prepare to leave. We hope you enjoyed your stay!
