Golf at St. Andrews
Scotland Luxury Golf Tour Itinerary...
The following vacation is designed for those travelers seeking the finest service and accommodations that can only be found at Scotland's premier golf hotels. The following itinerary is only one sample of the many variations we can offer.
Day 1:
Your vacation of a lifetime starts with an overseas flight to Glasgow, Scotland.
Day 2:
Upon arrival in Scotland, you will be met by an SGH Golf representative who will assist you with your luggage and present you with a travel guide complete with maps, travel tips and places of interest. After being shown to your rental vehicle, you will drive down the Ayrshire coast and check in to the Turnberry Hotel. This afternoon is free to enjoy your surroundings. Optional golf can be arranged. Dinner will be included this evening at the hotel.
Day 3:
Following a hearty Scottish breakfast, golf will be arranged at Turnberry's Ailsa Course. Non golfers may choose to be pampered at Turnberry's world famous spa.
Day 4:
This morning, your golf will be played on the historic links at Royal Troon, this afternoon a second round will be arranged on the Portland Course. Non golfers may choose to drive The Burns Heritage Trail. Following golf, you will transfer to Auchterarder and the Gleneagles Hotel. Dinner will be included this evening at the hotel.
Day 5:
Today, you will be playing the Kings Course. Non golfers will find an abundance of activities to enjoy at Gleneagles or may want spend the day in the capital city of Edinburgh.
Day 6:
This morning after breakfast, you will drive to St. Andrews and check in to The Old Course Hotel. En route to St. Andrews golf will be arranged at Carnoustie Golf Club. Non golfers may wish to visit Glamis Castle. Dinner will be included this evening at the hotel.
Day 7:
Today after breakfast golf will be arranged on The Old Course at St. Andrews. This afternoon a second round of golf will be arranged on The Jubilee Course at St. Andrews. Non golfers may like taking a walking tour of St. Andrews.
Day 8:
Today we encourage you to explore even more great golf, Spain? Portugal? Maybe a quick trip north to Royal Dornoch! If not, we regret that we will have to say good-bye, as you board your plane heading home.

All prices are per person, double occupancy, land cost only.
Prices Start At:
$4295.00 per golfer and $2962.00 per non golfer.
All golf is subject to availability.
Cost Includes:
- 6 nights accommodation, double occupancy at hotels indicated.
- Full Scottish breakfast each day.
- Table d'hote dinner on three evenings.
- Green fees and starting times for one round each of golf at Turnberry Ailsa, Royal Troon, Troon Portland, Gleneagles Kings, Carnoustie, and the Old & Jubilee Course.
- All service charges on hotel accommodation, and all local taxes.
- Rental vehicle with unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and VAT tax. (Gas is extra)
- SGH Golf travel guide complete with touring map and places of interest.
- Assistance of our Glasgow office to arrange extra golf and sightseeing trips of all descriptions.
