Crail Balcomie

Course Description:

crail-balcomieCrail Golfing Society celebrated their 225th anniversary in 2011. Crail Balcomie, designed by the great Old Tom Morris, is commonly known as the Prince of Scottish Links- a name it rightfully deserves. The first tee gives a fantastic view of the entire course, which is made all the more stunning by the hilly ground it covers -- an unusual feature for the typically flat topography of most links. The links march up and down the North Sea, which produces huge winds- a factor to be reckoned with almost every day. But there is also a beach, meandering streams and a whole assortment of devilish hazards that are a challenge to players of every level. Graced with an elegant beauty and excellent design, all golfers will delight in the discovery of one of Scotland’s greatest unsung heroes.
