Dunes West Golf Club Dunes West Golf Club
An Arthur Hills masterpiece - named "One of 1991's Top Ten New Resort Courses, " by Golf Magazine. You will drive down the avenue of oaks where a spectacular marsh view welcomes you upon your arrival. This tremendous course takes full advantage of its fabulous setting. The opening holes have generous landing areas and inviting green settings with undulation and bunkering as only Arthur Hills can create. The back nine bends Art's talents with natural moss draped oaks and marsh. The 18th hole, with a dual green split by the marsh of the Wagner Creek, finishes with a challenging shot reminiscent of the 18th at Harbour Town. Located on the antebellum site of the Lexington Plantation, the club house was specifically designed to capture the old southern charm of the Lowcountry. Dunes West blends its historically rich environment with the best golf facilities offered anywhere today. A variety of tees allow the player to choose an enjoyable yet challenging course. Dunes West is all you would expect from one of Golf Magazines "Top Ten Resort Courses of 1991."

Kiawah Island-The Ocean Course Kiawah Island-The Ocean Course
Designed by Pete Dye and opened in 1991 before the Ryder Cup Matches, The Ocean Course gained instant notoriety as the site of the most dramatic "War by the Shore," a battle decided literally by the final putt of Sunday's final match. In 1997, The Ocean Course hosted the World Cup of Golf. The world's finest golfers from 32 countries competed in this stroke play tournament. And later this year, The Ocean Course will once again take center stage of the golf world when the UBS Warburg Cup arrives with names such as Palmer, Nicklaus and Player. But with all 18 holes offering panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, it's likely The Ocean Course would have earned widespread acclaim had no tournament ever been played there. Located at the Eastern end of Kiawah Island, The Ocean Course negotiates along 2 3/4 miles of pristine oceanfront property. According to Pete Dye, "There's no other golf course in the Northern Hemisphere that has as many seaside holes".

Kiawah Island-Osprey Point Kiawah Island-Osprey Point
Designed by the consensus pick as the best contemporary architect in golf, Tom Fazio has left his mark on Kiawah. At Osprey Point, Fazio used a superb natural canvas to create a masterpiece in playability and variety. The setting for the course features four large, natural lakes, fingers of saltwater marsh, and dense maritime forests of live oaks, pines, palmettos, and magnolias. Into that backdrop, Fazio blended a par-72 layout that takes advantage of its setting. Ranked in Golf Digest's "America's Top 75 Resort Courses," Osprey Point has grown into one of the favorite courses on the island.

Wild Dunes-Links Course Wild Dunes-Links Course
In terms of a game that dates back centuries, Wild Dunes Links is a relative infant. Yet few newcomers to the ancient game have captured the imagination of golf enthusiasts as this Tom Fazio creation set hard against the Atlantic Ocean of the Isle of Palms, just 20 minutes from historic Charleston. Described as "a combination of Scotland and the Caribbean" by one national golf publication, and called "the ultimate in seaside golf in America" by another, Wild Dunes Links has been acclaimed as one of the outstanding courses in golf worldwide since its Labor Day, 1980 opening. Its breathtaking 18th hole, stretched out against the Atlantic and shaped by rolling sand dunes, is said to be "the greatest finishing hole east of Pebble Beach."
