Harbourtown Harbour Town Golf Links
For many years this venue has been considered a benchmark against which all courses are measured, Harbour Town Golf Links is home to one of the top events on the PGA Tour, the MCI Classic. This Pete Dye-Jack Nicklaus designed course occupies a spectacular setting on the inland coast of Hilton Head Island. This facility has become a symbol for excellence in the world of golf, and yearly makes everyone's list of Top-50 in the USA. It was recently acclaimed the 57th best course in the world by Golf Digest.

Sea Pines - Ocean Course
Among the oldest golf courses in the Hilton Head area, the Ocean course at Sea Pines has just recently, (Spring 96) undergone a complete renovation by PGA Pro-Architect Mark Mccumber. It has been brought truly up-to-date and reflects a real challenge with a variety of shot opportunities for golfers of all skill levels. If your staying on Hilton Head Island you should seriously consider this as an candidate for your "must play" list. You will not be disappointed.

Palmetto Dunes Palmetto Dunes - Robert Trent Jones
The oldest course at Palmetto Dunes and is a long-time favorite on the island. This facility features an extensive lagoon system which winds through the course impacting play on eleven holes. Add some of Jones' seemingly patented bunkers and large, well-bunkered greens and you've got plenty of good golf ahead of you here. This Palmetto Dunes Resort course is well-known for its many views of the ocean. The finest is found at the 10th hole, a par-5 on the card of 540 yards. Its green is set out by the ocean, and it takes three good shots to reach it when the wind is blowing in your face.

Daufuskie Island Resort
This latest Club Corp. Of America; (Pinehurst, The Homestead) resort offers 2 superb signature courses on a private island, (accessible only by boat), adjacent to Hilton Head Island. Bloody Point (Weiskopf/Morrish) is a Parkland-style course offering spectacular scenery as many of its holes border the ocean, marshes, and rivers. Melrose,(the Nicklaus course), features 3 breathtaking oceanfront finishing holes.

Palmetto Dunes Old South
Award-winning golf course architect Clyde Johnston designed Old South Golf Links in keeping with the beautiful low-country's natural landscape. "Old South Golf Links was designed not only to provide an enjoyable yet challenging golf game, but also to preserve the natural beauty of the land", said Johnston. "I felt that this was an opportunity to allow the golfer to experience up close the uniqueness of the site, its natural amenities and spectacular views".
